Spotify Facebook log in linked to wrong Spofity account

Hi,

I seem to have a problem while using Spotify - my Spotify account is linked to my Facebook account. While logging in on Spotify's website to get premium, I see that my profile is linked to my father in law's profile.

How can I disconnect the two accounts? If I try to update my personal information with my name, email address I get an error message that my mail address is already in use..

If you created your Spotify account with Facebook, you need to create a new account with a different email address from the one you use for Facebook. That will give you a Spotify username of your choice, so you won't have to rely on Facebook anymore.

Once you have this new account, contact customer support and they'll help you migrate your Premium privileges, library, playlists, friends, etc. to this new account.
