Spotify taking too long to load on Samsung Galaxy S5

When I open the Spotify app on my Samsung Galaxy S5  it is taking forever to load the app before any information shows. The last song that was played is still shown at the bottom and this can be played but to get any other options it takes so long sometimes I give up and go onto Soundcloud which is free! I am paying for Spotify and I want it to work straightaway. 

My internet connection is not the problem.

Any help/advice would be appreciated!

That's odd.
Have you tried reinstalling your app? If not here's a step by step tutorial.

Of course he/she has probably tried reinstalling. I have been living with this problem for years and it never gets any better. As soon as I go online this happens and it often takes 10 minutes or more to become useable.

Please can we have some sensible suggestions rather than treat us all as if we are morons. Let's assume that we have all tried reinstalling; switching off and on again; clearing memory etc.etc.
