Stops automatically

While I am listening at work, it won't continue playing my music.. I have to go back into the app and manually start it back and it starts the music over when I do... It did not do it until I switched to this phone when other phone broke. The music will show that it is playing but I won't hear anything unless I disconnect and connect whichever listening device I have (Bluetooth or wired headphones). Can this problem be fixed. I am a premium subscriber and would like to keep it that way but having to do this is becoming increasingly annoying every time it happens .
