Spotify gets maximized on logging back

I have kept the "close button should minimize the spotify window" option turned on. It does work greatly, move the app in the background and keep it minimized. However, the same doesn't work when I log out (keeping the app minimized) and log back. On the logging, the app gets maximized and appears on top of all other windows.

I have already made sure that
1. Deleted older app and all it's files. Reinstalled the latest version of the app from the official website only
2. The app is NOT in the "Startup Applications" list of OS.
3. "Open spotify automatically after you log into the computer" option is turned OFF.

Can anyone please help?
