Force Link to open PC App

I have a database I use to track songs we perform.  I put links directly to the songs in the database in case I need a reminder of how they go.  I recently signed up for Spotify Premium so I want to replace the Youtube link with something that opens the Spotify PC app, but instead it opens my web browser.  Granted, it's stored as a hyperlink format so that might be the first problem.  Aside from that, is there a way to paste a link from within MS Access, or Word, or Excel, so that a song linked will open the Spotify app and not the web browser?
