Unable to disable "Show my current Top artists" on desktop

I always disable the "Show my top artists" option (Preference > Social), but whenever I exit the app and open it again, the option gets re-enabled every single time. I'm not sure what the issue is, but both my computers(win 8.1 and 10) have the same issue. How could I fix this glitch?

I have the same problem. Also, when I activate 'Pubblish my activity on Spotify' and I close the app, it goes off again.

I have this issue too. For some reason, the mobile app saves privacy settings while the desktop app does not, so that's what I usually use to set my "publish activity" settings. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an way to disable the "show top artists" on the mobile app.

This has been an age old problem now and I find it VERY miffing that Spotify has yet to resolve this issue. It's getting on my nerves when my settings are not saved. I tried reinstalling a fresh copy and it didn't work either. UGH.
