Pioneer Control App and Spotify

hello, I have a Pioneer A1 speaker model XW-SMA1 and I use with Pandora and vTuner just fine. I use my iPhone, I set up Pandora or vTuner to play directly to the A1 speaker, then I can do something else with my iPhone. I can even leave the house. The Speaker plays by itself.

Now I just signed up yesterday to try Spotify (great deal, $1 for 3 months) and in the Pioneer Control App I try to start Spotify. I tis not working.

It just does not work like that. I do have this Premium account (do I? maybe the promo still has some limits?) and when I try to start Spotify, I get this warning posted below. I checked the settings, region is set to North America; i fi just continue to Spotify App, it start playing on my iPhone, not on the Speaker. I restarted the speaker and phone multiple times. The phone and speaker are on the same WiFi network. As I said, Pandora and vTuner work just fine.

Pioneer XW-SMA1 22DB60, firmware version s1080.1000.0 which seems to be the latest and should support Spotify.

If anyone knows what is wrong here, please help me. Thanks!

You can use Spotify Connect on an A1 I think rather than using the Pioneer App.
