My Spotify has a language problem

My Spotify has a language problem -- it bounces back and forth between English and German. Though I recently spent half a year in Germany, I don't speak or read German. Besudes, I want Spotify in English, my native language. Most of the time when I open it, I go into the German version and the Account area. If I go over to home and content pages it switches to English. but if I go back to account info etc we're back in Deutschland. That's a general pattern, but there are times when the switches seem random.  The only fix I can find in the Spotify help is to go to Settings/Language and change language, but the page that opens says I'm already operating in English, even after I've switched it to  German and then back to English. This happens in both Firefox and Chrome, but I've never seen it on my iphone.

I'm thinking of uninstalling Spotify everywhere and reinstalling it.

Other ideas?

I know right I also have this problem on xbox but it keeps changing to 6 different languages
