Songs in playlist differ from iPhone to iPad.

I'm following a playlist (Videogames / OC Remix) and on the iPhone it has a large variety (740+ songs) whereas on the iPad it only shows 111.  What gives?  

It's the same account so I know it's not some international region type issue.

Any suggestions?

Can you try logging out and logging back in again, also you have to give it a couple of mins for it to cache back the tracks on the iPad.
