Spotify won't play any songs, at all on Window Phone 8 - Lumia 1020

Hi,

 

My Spotify is the Premium Subscription and is up to date.

 

My account works on other devices: e.g. iPod, iPad, Mac & Windows 8.1

 

I have a Lumia 1020 w/Amber update.  

 

I can login and see all of my playlists.

 

I can not stream or offline download any tracks over wifi or LTE.

 

When I ever I attempt to play a track, either from my playlist or while browsing, all Sometimes I am greeted with is the "Now Playing" screen and the floating progress dots at the top and most other times just the floating progress dots without navigating to the "Now Playing" screen.

 

I can not select the Offline choice in individual playlists. However, I can select offline, for selected playlists. from the Playlists page. Though this does not make any difference and does not "stick" for my next Spotify seession.

 

Under Setting > Offline & Sync

  • > Storage Used: 0.0 MB
  • > Sync State: blank
  • > Connection Type: none ! No Network Available

App Version: 2.0

Core Version: 0.6.4113.gf895e1a1

 

I have tried all of the following without any success

  • I have rebooted my Phone
  • I have reinstalled Spotify and rebooted my Phone
  • I have turned off Wifi
  • I have logged off and then back on
  • I have changed all the settings: e.g. Stream Quality, Syncing & 3G

The problem occured a few updates ago and I have been unable to use the service on this device ever since.

 

I am now offically frustrated because this is my primary device for using Spotify.

 

Please help me fix this issue.
