I'd like the ability to instantly shuffle and play all of my music, including playlists I've created or followed. Currently this is only possible for saved songs/albums. As a bonus, I'd like the ability to do this for offline music only if I'm on the go and need to conserve data. This would be available regardless of device. This seems like such an obvious feature, I was surprised to find out it was not possible. Please and thank you.

Hi, there should be no restriction concerning nr. of offline tracks. I have round about 40 GB on my phone and that should be the limit and nothing else. If i'am in holiday (and offline) I want to choose from a large number of music files and I don't want to think about which tracks I want to take with me in holiday. They just have to be there! We pay for it, so we don't want to have such limitations! Thanks and regards Martin

I am used to choose playlists as offline-playlists on my mobile device using the desktop vesion. By clicking on a mobile device (under "Devices") in the left menu the desktop version shows all my playlists. Now i can tick which playlist is supposed to be downloaded to the mobile device. I'm missing this feature for the new "Your music" section. After saving a song to "Your music" it's not instantly offline aviable on my mobile device. At first I have to search for the new song on my mobile device and then I can choose download. (Unless the artist or album is already marked as offline aviable.) My suggestion is to implement a management in the desktop version for choosing which artists and albums should be downloaded to connected mobile devices - or rather an extension of the existing menu in the desktop version. Maybe you implement one tab for playlists, another for artists and a third one for albums.

Many users, me included, are not satisfied with the new "Your Music" functionality. This is a complete description of how the benefits of "Your Music" could be combined with the benefits of "Starred" into a funcionality here called "Your Music 2.0" To understand the idea I first need to pin-point some of the benefits/drawbacks of the new "Your Music"-way compared to the old "Starred"-way. The benefits of using "Your Music": A - You can easily save an album without having to create a playlist just for that album B - For any song you save the artist is conveniently listed under "Artists" C - For any album you save the artist is conveniently listed under "Artists" D - For any song you save the album is conveniently listed under "Albums" The drawbacks of using "Your Music": F - If you save full albums the "Song" section soon becomes too large and you might not love all songs in an album but still wants the full album saved. So then you'd have to use the old method of creating an album-playlist which is counterproductive. G - If you save multiple single tracks the "Album"-view will get totally messed up and you won't be able to easily distinguish your one-track-albums from you real-full-albums. The benefits of using "Starred" and playlists: H - You can easily mark the full collection for offline mode, and new songs added are automatically downloaded for offline I - You can play Radio on your full "Starred"-collection K - When browsing songs in albums, search results etc. you see which songs are already starred L - You can filter the playlist to quickly find a song (or verify that a song is saved) The drawbacks of using "Starred" and playlists: M - It's bothersome to save a full album because you have to create a playlist for it. And a playlist is not really an album because you could add other artists' songs etc. which allows for too many degrees of freedom. __________________________________________ Your Music 2.0: It works like this (and think of this being built on the basis of the current "Your Music"-functionality): You still add songs by one-click on plus-button. And then a song is added the artist is added under "Artists" as it is now. BUT the album is not added under "Albums" because "Albums" should only be used for full albums (Maybe "Albums" should be renamed to "Full albums" for this to be more clear). This fullfills B, G You can still easily add a full album to "Albums". But only full albums can exist in "Albums". And when adding an album the artist(s) are automatically added to "Artists". BUT the songs in the album are not automatically added to "Songs". (Maybe "Songs" should be renamed to "Single tracks" for this to be more clear). This fullfills A, C, F, G, M You can easily mark the full "Songs"-collection for offline mode, and new songs added are automatically downloaded for offline. This fullfills H You can play Radio on your full "Songs"-collection. This fullfills I When browsing songs in albums, search results etc. you see which songs are already in "Songs". This fullfills K You can filter the playlist to quickly find a song (or verify that a song is saved). This fullfills L (All songs previously in "Starred" could be moved to "Songs". and the "Starred"-playlist could be removed. Not sure if this might be too disruptive for the users though. But at least some means for not having the confusing redundancy of both "Starred" and "Songs" because "Starred" is quite meaningless after "Your Music 2.0" has been implemented) D is not fulfilled at all, but since it's in conflict with G, that's good because the lack of D is not as bad as the mess with G. So with "Your Music 2.0" all the benefits of "Starred" will remain within "Songs". AND you get a much better way of saving full albums than in the old days when you have to create "album-playlists". AND with "Artists" you get a nice library of all artists behind you "Songs" and "Albums", where you can click on an Artist and see all those songs and album (and perhaps having songs/albums here visually separated too!?). That's it! It's not even a major UI-remake, so it could be achieved quite easily and frictionless. But these few small tricks would really make Spotify work again. At least the way I like it to work!

I would love to have the option to hide offline lists when I am offline. I use folders for all it's worth, and I have so many playlists and while my playlists are awesomely organized, it would help so much to be able to not see the playlists I have chosen to keep offline from my phone. Basically, I wish the offline lists would load only when I was online with my app and clicked Offline playlists. This would keep it all neat and clean. Folders in the app would also be awesome.

Hi, while in the road, I usually use Offline Mode, but browsing for downloaded albums in the album list (I use iOS) is very annoying, such I have such a long list of favorite albums. The suggestion is to KEEP OFFLINE ALBUMS ON TOP OF THE ALBUMS LIST, or create a filtering option. Also, I think that in offline mode you should only be able to see what you have downloaded, since the other items are useless.

Having only just replaced my iPod (80GB classic) with my phone (Galaxy S), I was hoping to receive similar functionality via Spotify. However, I find offline listening to be incredibly clumsy! I find that having one playlist full of music I wish to sync just does not work. In the mean-time, I have resorted to creating one playlist per album. This still isn't great, but is a marked improvement. I think that there's a better solution to this problem. I propose that browsing your offline files becomes a little more succinct, and similar to the functionality of other music players on the market. The simple ability to browse your offline artists/albums/genres would improve the usability of this app to a huge extent.

I think it'd be great if there was a Master "Available Offline" button for Artists as a whole, Albums as a whole, and the same for Songs. It's great being able to do that for the individual folders, but a lot of us will want to download all and having to go to each folder and manually check Available Offline is very time consuming, especially on the mobile apps. It takes 4 taps to go in to offline mode, and another 4 to get back to where I was (and by then have lost my place in the scroll). Logically, I'd just tap the words at the bottom of the screen that tells me which mode I'm in to toggle the mode. Even better would be an automatic offline mode when wifi is unavailable. I'm using iOS 8 on an iPhone 5C Thanks.

I have several playlists that are labeled "pending", presumably because I've hit my ridiculous 3,333 song limit on my iPhone. I see no easy way of knowing which songs have not successfully synced and I have a large number of local files that are pretty important to have available in offline mode (the entire AC/DC catalouge. grumble.). It would be great if spotify could flag or highlight tracks that are still pending so I can more easily determine how to manage my playlists.

One of the things I love about Spotify is how it helps discover artists and music. How about a feature where you allocate an amount of storage (for offline scenarios) and get Spotify to literally pick random tracks from everything available and make them available for offline play. A real 'lucky dip' feature and bound to come up with something you like once in a while!

A kind of a small spotify hardware player (like an iPod nano) would be great. With this it should be possible to listen to the music (offline), like with a smartphone when there is no internet connection. After 30 days you need to go online to approve your license (connect player with your PC so it can establish a connection with the spotify server). It would be great for sports, fitness, running (since everybody has a 5.5" smartphone) or as a USB stick for your car radio or integrated USB interface. Useful for car owners without bluetooth or integrated spotify service.

I have been bugged for quite some time over the immensely annoying 'available offline' button at the top of my spotify playlist. The amount of times I have accidentally knocked this and immediately lost my 600 offline songs and had to wait until I have wifi again to redownload is painful. I cannot be the only one who has done this several times, how many people must do this and get irritated so much that they switch to apple music for example, obviously resulting in thousands of lost subscription money for spotify. All I ask is that you integrate a remarkably simple 'confirm' screen with a yes/no option so it is almost impossible to accidentally lose all of your offline songs. Many use the offline feature to save their precious data on their phones so i'm sure this will be appreciated. Thanks.

My collection of music is growing by a steady pace. Can someone tell me the limits? - max number of songs in Your Music? - max offline songs on a ios device? This poses an issue... I want to carry My Music everywhere I go... But I am not allowed to have all those songs offline at the same time. Wouldn't it be a nice improvement to have Spotify automatically refresh a customizable percentage of offline My music songs on a daily basis, whenever connected to wifi? Say 2% daily. This way you keep getting surprised and you are sure there's a chance you hear all Your Songs sooner or later.

Title says it all. Some folks (like myself) spend a lot of time with little to no cell service or wifi. I love that Spotify has the option for offline mode so you don't rack up unnecessary roaming charges, but don't love having to scroll through all of the music that I can't listen to while offline! I think there should be an option that once you switch into "Offline Mode" you could then select the secondary option of "Show Downloaded Content Only".

I've been a Spotify subscriber for 4 or 5 years now, and the three device limit for offline sync has always seemed a bit on the low side. At the moment I regularly use 5 devices (Android smartphone, android tablet, iPad Air, Linux laptop and Windows desktop). Only being able to use three of these for offline access is somewhat annoying (note that Apple iTunes allows 5 devices) This means lots of resyncing and downloading of tracks over mobile data at times (I can easily chew through 700MB+ when I'm travelling - notably when downloading tracks before I end up at a hotel with terrible or heavily filtered/restricted internet or being in an area without 3G). So, please up the limit for number of offline devices. I'm thinking 6 sounds like a more sensible number. You might also want to think about providing users with other options for offline access, where they can choose the most suitable for their use. For example, you could have, say, three options where the user can change between them: "Up to 3 devices, playback is locked out after 30 days of that device not being logged-in to spotify" (default) OR "Up to 6 devices, playback is locked out after 15 days of that device not being logged-in to spotify" OR "An unlimited number of devices, but you must have logged in within the past 48 hours for offline playback to function.")

I believe the current limit is 3,333 songs for offline play. There should be a way to increase this cap to at least 5,000, or just remove it completely, seeing that we are paying a premium fee for this service. Thanks!

When I Save an album, to then take it offline, I have to go back to your music, find the album and then tap 'Available Offline'. That just seems a bit illogical. Could you please put a 'take offline' button next to the 'saved' button on the album. That would cut out a lot of extra taps. Thanks!
