It would be great if there was a way to delete playlists and songs from recently played on mobile. Going from a long time native music app to a streaming service, I am severely annoyed by the fact that MY Library, is simply a search page for artists I have liked. If I wanted to search, i would go to SEARCH. If I want to listed to the music I have downloaded for offline music, by a single artist, GOOD LUCK. Every time I try to search an artist it brings me to a discover page. If I want to see music I liked, I have to sift through the ENTIRE “liked songs” playlist. This may work well for some people with 30-50 songs, but if I’m looking for an artist or track that I just have a hard time remembering exact name of, I don’t want to look through 3500 tracks to find it, missing it twice. Looks like instead of being able to access saved songs by artist, now clicking on an artist's name will bring you to their page. Would love to be able to listen to the songs I love by an artist without having to create a playlist or listen to them one album at a time. Please bring this back!!! ... View more

Reposting this because my earlier attempt was misunderstood and I couldn't reply to the moderator.   Ever became indecisive and you choose to jump from a playlist to another, then suddenly you want to go back to what you were listening to awhile ago? Well with the current style of the program, you lose the "progress" (ie. where you left off) from that playlist. This proposal is meant to allow users the ability to just come back to the last song they were playing, at which point of the song they stopped in the album/playlist. The songs you've already played are already consumed in your queue and you don't have to play it all over again if you suddenly want to go back.   EDIT AFTER FIRST REJECTION: Hello! I believe you've misunderstood my submission. What I was implying was to have playlists/albums stopped at exactly where you left it to proceed to a different playlist/album.    For example, you wish to jump from Playlist A to Playlist B. When you press a song to start Playlist B, the last song you were playing from A stops at where you leave it at (say 2:45/3:05) and the queue is also unchanged (all the played songs are still played and wont be repeated unless the settings itself is on repeat or if you press a different song from the same playlist to start a new cycle) . Spotify, Please add the traditional Artist > Album > Song layout to the library. I want more organization in my music library then the  Artist > Song  OR  Album > Song  layouts currently offer. I highly encourage featuring sorting options within an Artist in My Library. Currently, Saved Songs are organized alphabetically by album title. It would be preferable to create sorting options like "Release Date" or "Date Liked". This would allow customizeable listening experiences for those who prefer listening to music in different and deliberate ways.   In the example of Black Sabbath, of my saved albums it jumps from Black Sabbath (album, 1970) to Heaven and **bleep** (1980). Not only are these albums 10 years apart, but they have different vocalists that have different styles altogether. I prefer to listen to albums straight through and would prefer to follow their debut album with their second, then third, etc. to keep the music in a similar musical style as opposed to the bands later albums. It is a useful tool for those interested in tracking an Artists change in style over their musical career.   Similarly, organizing  by “Date Liked” is useful for those wanting to have easier access to their earliest (and often most familiar or liked) saved listening experience with the artist. This would allow the user to sort their first saved album/song by the artist to the top of the Artist’s saved music section.  An additional bonus would be the freedom to add albums/singles/etc. into their saved music in the order they would like it to be sorted in their library. ... When a user clicks on the heart for an album or an artist, those are just thrown into the library in the order they are liked. The result? A Mess. The new updated app redirect the artist page on the library to the artist personal page, not the songs we liked of the artist. Why? We find the artist because we want to find the song we liked of this artist, not discover the artist! Please bring back the ability to like a song directly from the lock screen. This used to be possible, but was removed in one of the app updates. It is hugely inconvenient to login to the phone, open the app, and click the current song just to be able to click the little heart icon. Please add an option to sort Artists by Recently followed.  Sometimes I like a new artist and wanna come back later to listen more and so I click the Follow button. Then I go to the Artists section and the list is filtered by "Recently added" which means it's sorted by my recent likes, not follows. Also, it would be nice to be notified of new releases by Artists that I follow. I'm talking about getting a push notification, not just an appearance in the Release Radar playlist.  Those two features would make the "Follow" button actually do something useful 🙂     ... I used to use Spotify a few years ago, and I want to use it again. However, it seems the feature to view all songs added to my library is gone. It is ridiculous to have to go through and like every song to create a playlist with all of my music. What happened to the feature allowing me to scroll through all of my songs and shuffle all? I want to come back to Spotify from Apple Music, but I refuse to use a platform that doesn't allow me to view and shuffle all of my music. This new update has made using the app somewhat inconvenient. When selecting an artist from the Recently Played section, it Now takes me to the artist's profile page instead of showing the songs I saved to my library . There are songs in my spotify recently played or the “jump right in” section that are quite literally stains on my account. Songs friends have played in the car and etc. that I never want to see on my spotify again but I’m forced to see it everyday I open the app. There’s no point in forcing people to have songs keep appearing that they don’t even listen to or songs they completely hate because a friend borrowed your phone for a song. I don’t even want to have to look at the album cover again for the song but removing it from recently played on desktop doesn’t do the same for mobile, it’s atrocious and pointless to restrict users like this. ... I like to listen to an album as a complete piece, as opposed to a playlist which is a collection of individual tracks. That is why I have so many albums saved on my Spotify account - but yet no way to group them according to different themes. That results in an extensive search each time I am thinking of what shall I listen to right now...   I would love to have a feature that helps me organizing my albums, so I can find easily what I would like to listen to in a given moment.
