Loving the new Electric Eye single. I really got into their album Different Sun last year, after discovering them from researching the label.

Jansen Plateproduksjon are one of Norway's coolest indie labels, holding host to some awesome bands.

...for starters. Also, they have a sister label, which does some incredible reissues, called Round 2 Records.

Their debut reissue on the label was the self-titled debut album from the long-forgotten Norwegian folk group Folque. Think Steeleye Span meets Fairport Convention from the depths of Scandinavia.

The Midnight - Light Years

(released 13 October 2017 as part of the Ep, Nocturnal)

Style: 80's influenced Synthwave

The Midnight is a Synthwave band founded 2012 in Los Angeles. The duo consists of Danish producer, songwriter and singer, Tim McEwan, and American singer-songwrtier, Tyler Lyle. The two musicians meet at a random co-writing session in Los Angeles. Combining Tim's 80's aesthetics with Lyle's singer-songwriting skills, they soon found a joint studio chemestry.

Subsequently the founded The Midnight and released their debut Ep 'Days of Thunder' in 2014. In 2016 their debut abum 'Endless Summer' was released to great succes.

Up until now The Midnight have self-releases most of their catalogue with a few singles out on the renown international electronic record label, Silk Music.
