My Question or Issue

 Spotify on High DPI screens will not launch with the scalar settings in some versions of linux. To fix this, people have previously suggested modifying the spotify.desktop file with the additional flag

--force-device-scale-factor=1.5

Which works fine, unless you use the newer snap. To fix this issue with the snap install, you will need to find the .desktop file for the snap, which is by default under

/var/lib/snapd/desktop/applications/

There, find the spotify_spotify.desktop file and add the --force-device-scale-factor flag to the exec line, right at the end before %U.
