Spotify app and web player both not working

I was (was because I'm not anymore) trying to listen to some music on Spotify in Linux Mint 18.3.

Spotify app won't start, returning the error that the country does not match the one set on the profile (say what?!); Spotify web player in Chromium and Firefox either returns the oooops error or won't play sound.

This is the part where I should describe my system bla bla bla but f that, there are hundreds or even thousands of similar reports with those errors so if they still happen is because either someone doesn't care or the people in charge are useless or someone wants it to be like that. So I won't waste more of my time.

Since Youtube and others are working just fine, the problem is solved. Youtube and others for listening music it is!
