Spotify has a lot of amazing, undiscovered artists. Some of them just need a push into the spotlight. 

So in this thread you can recommend your favorite artists with less than 500 followers. 

To insert a Spotify Play Button just: 

1. Pick a track from the artist/ band. 

2. Right click and select Copy Embed Code.

3. Paste it in the HTML tab on your community post.

Adrian Borland, was singer/guitarist and main songwriter with The Sound, a band which between 1979 and 1987 released seven albums. Adrian released five solo albums, first together with his new backing band The Citizens, later on his own. In 1995 he brought out his first cd with White Rose Transmission, his collaboration with Carlo van Putten( Vocalist )

On April 26th 1999 Adrian Borland committed suicide by throwing himself in front of a train.

Walter Benjamin is a London-based producer and songwriter born in Lisbon. The Imaginary Life of Rosemary and Me is his new and most personal record, released via Pataca Discos. He had previously released an album (The National Crisis) as well as a few EPs via the now  defunct label Merzbau. Mostly home recorded, his discography is anarchic and incoherent, whilst exploring many different musical territories. The new record was written and recorded between the hot and sunny city of Lisbon and the crazy, busy life of London. The sessions started at Pataca Discos' own beautiful 15A studios and finished in a small, first floor London bedroom, carrying on Walter's own tradition of  home recording. Written like a book, the listener travels through its eight honest but ambiguous, short and direct songs. The timeless quality of the arrangements, blending classic instrumentation with fresh elements ensure room for surprises.

St. Ives released their self titled debut on limited edition LP. . Below are a few words from the eldest of The Brothers Jurado on Hoquiam:
“Hoquiam started out as an outlet or a way for me to channel the ‘other songs’ that I had been writing during the time that I was preparing for “Caught in the Trees”. This scenario had happened countless times before, where I was writing for a specific record and at the same time, I was coming up with songs that were less polished and more free, so to speak.
Hoquiam, is the end result of two brothers, mixing the influences of garage music, folk music and art, in a house we built together.”
