Help..! Song missing from "All out 80s" and I cant find it anywhere

I`ve searched for hours and days but cant find this song, and I`m a little scared that I'm loosing my mind...! And my sleep...

I have VERY little information, so I know this is a shot in the dark..

But hey, I've tried everything, so here goes

It was previously on "All out 80s"

Its a solo male performer (his only hit)

Not a giant hit (maybe therefore removed?)

It was released with a teen movie that didn't do so well

Soft pop/rock/ballad, not rock rock

Typical 80s cover; male with jacket posing, dark background

The song have interesting chord changes, and it transposes

There is a 80s guitar solo that feels like it don't belong

The song title is not short, and I remember it was kind of weird (and unmemorable)

It it the most bizarre thing, I don't remember ANY lyrics or melody or name, and its driving me insane...

If anyone knows anything I would be eternal grateful! And impressed..!
