i have finally set up spotify on my sonos play 5. when i try to play music it says spotify account loggin detail not valid??

I have just moved this topic over to the correct area for you.

First thing to check, do you have a premium subscription? Premium is required to use Spotify on any partner device. 

 

Do you normally log into Spotify using a dedicated Spotify username and password or do you have a Spotify account created using Facebook (and therefore log in using your email address)? 

 

If you have a dedicated Spotify account, double check to make sure your details are correct. Do your username or password contain any special characters? 

 

If you have a Spotify account created using Facebook, you need to set a device password and retrieve your Spotify username, since Sonos does not support Facebook authentication. Have a read at this help page.
