Spotify songs skipping

Both on the web player and app songs skip after 1-2 seconds.
I have tried allowing protected content, but it still skips.

For starters, we recommend you perform a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your computer to see if this makes a difference. You can find out the steps to do it in this article. By doing that the app can be up-to-date and you can make sure the cache is not leading to this inconvenience.

If this doesn't do the trick, can you share the exact OS version of your device along with the Spotify version you have installed?

Lastly, just to confirm, is this happening on a different computer? It’d be awesome if you could check. You can ask for the computer of a relative or a friend to open your account and check.
