Brief timeline:

I had the account for years.

Opened with Facebook, using a very old 'for spam only' email account.

I have since changed the email account on Facebook, all Facebook traffic was redirected to a new email, all accounts (i had some streaming services linked the same way) switched.

SPOTIFY DIDN'T 😄

And best of all, the old 'for spam only' email doesn't exist anymore.

To make this even more complicated, I am in the process of deleting my Facebook too, and Spotify is the last thing I use my Facebook login for.

The issue:

Spotify won't let me change the email, because the account was set up using Facebook. It recommends that I delete my account, but in order to do this, I need to VERIFY deleting my acccount via an email adress that doesn't exist (and hasn't for 2+ years). How can I just get rid of Spotify alltogether?
