Switching of account to be used for Facebook

Hi! My dilemma is that previously I have created a Spotify account thru Facebook. Right now, I have another account under Spotify but bears a different email address. I'd like to connect Facebook with my new one as I have enrolled it for Premium. However, whenever I try to, it keeps on saying that I can't do it since it has been linked already to an existing. Is there some way for to deactivate my previous Spotify account so that I can link my new account with Facebook? Thanks!
