password reset mail not coming

when Im sending a gmail and using password reset option there is no mail received.

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out!

 

It's possible that the email ended up in your Spam folder, or another filtered folder, so make sure to check those, if you haven't already. Try running a search for any incoming email listed from no-reply@spotify.com. Your inbox might also be full, so check if deleting some emails and resetting your password again does the trick. It's also worth requesting another password reset email in an incognito window, with another browser, or with another device.

 

Another thing that you can check is making sure Spotify's domain is whitelisted. Just go to your email Settings > Junk email > check if the Spotify domain is under Blocked senders > then add no-reply@spotify.com in the safe senders and domains list.

 

Note that you'll be temporarily timed out in case you've already made several failed attempts at resetting your password, but you can try again later.
