[Mobile] Songs say its playing when its not

I downloaded an album and it has some explicit content. My question is that it won't play like 4 songs out of the 10 songs however my bf downloaded the same album and all the songs play on his phone so why can't I play all the songs?

Quick question; do you have your own Spotify account or are you both sharing one?

Try undownloading the album then redownload it again

Yes I do have my own account. I've tried re-downloading it but still doesn't play. I noticed when I first went to download the album the first two songs didn't have the down arrow to be downloaded if that makes sense.

What you are saying makes sense... Just not what it is doing 🙂

Best bet... Annoyingly is a clean install making sure to clear the cache in your phone completely. I suspect something in here is causing the issue.
