Yes, once you've synced songs offline they should stay synced forever (provided you don't turn off available offline).

Thats not quite true, you need to connect to Spotify at least once every 30 days to verify your subscription is still active.

Do you now? I didn't know that, probably because I've never been away for more than 30 days using Spotify!
