Spotify account eventually linked to FB but FB friends dont see me when they search spotify

Hello All,

I created a spotify account not linked to FB. At first it was alright but then i soon wanted to add colleagues and friends in my spotify. Though i do can follow them easily via searching them on Spotify, they cannot see me when looking at Spotify Search bar function or even as a facebook contact.

Can you please help fix my account? This is quite important to me.

To add, mainly i just need my username to be easily searchable for friends via spotify search bar or seen as an FB contact.

If you have a username they should be able to easily find you by searching for:
spotify:user:your_username

Hi Peter,

Appreciate the response. Although i personally know that workaround, it is not common knowledge for all users. Hence, it prevents people from just adding my profile upfront.

Could this be fixed? Thank you.

Unfortunately it is something I have brought to the attention of Spotify many times but it has never been fixed.
