Reshuffling skips current song

My Question or Issue

When listening to songs in My Library I will often create a queue, then reshuffle (which smart shuffle has made a pain, but that's another topic) to expand my queue with other songs that were not shown before. Sometimes (not always, but often enough that it is a problem) when I move from shuffle to smart shuffle mode (to then unshuffle and reshuffle) the song currently playing gets skipped and the first song in queue starts.

Thanks for the post.

This is happening because Smart shuffle adds new songs to your playlist temporarily and this will sometimes reset playback. We've passed your feedback on this on to the relevant teams at Spotify, who are working on improving how the Smart Shuffle experience works and what effect it has on other app features. 

Keep your app up to date, as this might get a fix in one of the upcoming updates.
