Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps.
If you're still having trouble, let me know what device this happens on, as well as the current software version. Also if you can, attach a screen recording of what you’re seeing so I can take a closer look.

I got in touch with SpotifyCares. But no, both of those don’t really work. It happens at random times. Don’t know if Spotify already fixed it because it was working tonight. Guess I’ll never know

Yeah, SpotifyCares hasn’t gotten back to me, so I’m wondering what you can do to help me out. I can’t send a screen recording, so I’m just gonna say that today, when I closed the app at 30 seconds in, it went back to 26 seconds when I reopened the app
