LET ME CANCEL MY EFFING SUBSCRIPTION

Solved!

LET ME CANCEL MY EFFING SUBSCRIPTION

So SICK of companies like this making it a pain in the D*** to close an account. I was only going to cancel it for a very short period of time and while I still LOVE this program, this B*S* REALLY makes me want to say 'to hell with it' and cancel it forever....but oh wait I can't.

If your cancel Sub. page isn't going to accept the right password into the cancel confirm box. why even bother putting it there, just tell people when they subscribe that they are f**d for life and can go to hell.

Aside from my angry annoying rant, that I'm sure noone gives a s**t about. I do love this program a lot and great job putting it together and at a fair price compared to a lot of other equal type companies. Now fix this issue before I have to fix it the hard way.

Try canceling with another browser.

I'm having the same problem.

Changing my facebooks password made no difference to the cancel subscription page not accepting my password.

Sorry to want to stop giving you money, but I just don't see myself using it enough to warrant paying. Thanks!

Opened up my long lost Internet Explorer.....Went through the Subscription cancellation process through it and it worked fine.

I Recommend putting a big sticker somewhere saying "WE DO NOT SUPPORT GOOGLE CHROME TO CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS" might help a poor sucker like me out who thinks the the only proper browser out there is Google Chrome.

For anyone else out there having the same problem....Dig through that rusty pile of crap on your computer and pull out Microsoft Internet Explorer and you should have no problem canceling...or at least it went smooth for me...good luck to the rest of you.

Yeah, that worked for me too. Thanks!

As hpguru has already mentioned the stock answer from Spotify will be to ask you to either use another browser, or log out of Facebook before attempting to cancel.

It's so frustrating, this has been going on for almost a year and Spotify don't seem to be giving it a high priority. I really cannot understand their thinking on this. Every time someone has a problem unsubscribing it gives Spotify a bad name and immediately looks like they are making it intentionally hard to do as a sneaky way of making extra money, even if they are not. Why Spotify continue to give themselves a bad name and a reputation as a dishonest company I just don't understand. This has been going on way too long, wasting way too much bandwidth in this forum and wasting both customer's and support staff's time. Please fix it!

We've just deployed some changes to the way this all works. This should stop Facebook users from being unable to cancel/upgrade. We'll keep an eye on this though.
