A little help for the elderly trying to log in...

Hi there,

I'm grasping here, trying to help my father who does not always possess the patience with "technical solutions" needed... A few years ago he registered a Spotify account, using an email address that is no longer active. He of course forgot the password, but since the address he registered no longer is available he can't get the password and therefore cannot access his spotify account. Trouble is, he doesn't want Facebook and so he doesn't want to register a new account.

Are there any ways to retrieve the forgotten password, using another email address? I understand that it probably isn't, but still, perhaps someone else had this problem? I am also helping him get in touch with the supplier of the old address, perhaps there could be a way for them to forward a message, but probably the password email from Spotify will bounce anyways.

So... any ideas? Please?

I suggest you submit an online contact form and someone at Spotify will help you get a new account which isn't linked to facebook going. If you get an automated reply, make sure to reply to it directly (even if it's from a no reply) and it will be sent to the Spotify staff.
