Hey @StevenValk, welcome to the Spotify Community!
First, I'm going to help you regain control of your account, and then I will help you get your playlists back 🙂
Could you try a couple things and then let me know if the other person still seems to be accessing your account?
1) On Spotify.com, go to your Account page and change your password. While some users have said that this hasn't fixed their problem, it has worked in other cases.
2) Also on your Account page, there is an option that says "Sign Out Everywhere" which will disconnect you from all active devices. If you do this as well as change your password then the problem should disappear.
3) Another option is to go to the Apps tab on your Account page, here you can revoke permission from apps that want to access your Spotify account. If you see anything here that you don't trust, remove it from the list. I currently have 3 apps connected.
Let me know how it goes 🙂 Once you have your account back under your control, I'll help you recover your playlists!

Hey Jacob,
Thanks you for responding first of all!
I already tried the "Sign out everywhere" function before and that didnt help.
I went to my account page to try an change my password, but my account is linked to my facebook (something i have regretted from the start, doesn't link with playstation).
So I changed my fb password i hope that's ok. And then I hit "Sign out everywhere" again. I also wanted to create a password for my devices but the email it should send didn't come through 2 times while it is the correct email adress.
I also deleted almost all the links with apps, only leaving the link with support on.
Could you help me further?
Thanks
Changing your FB password was the correct thing to do, in that case 🙂 Alright, it sounds like you should have control of your account back now (let me know if it seems like someone else still has access and we can try some other things).
To recover your personal playlists, you should be able to find deleted playlists here: https://www.spotify.com/account/recover-playlists/
If you need help recovering playlists that aren't listed there, let me know and I should be able to get you in contact with someone who can look into your account details and help restore your playlists 🙂
I got all my playlists back and let's hope it stays that way and no one can acces my account, otherwise I'll let you know 😉
Thanks!
Hi Jacob,
The problem of not being able to see previously followed playlists (from spotify, mixmag, etc) is also occuring to me after importing my large number of itunes playlists. After importing the playlists to spotify, the import did not contain the itunes playlists within the itunes playlist folder and instead the playlists occupy the normally spotify playlists, with the previously followed playlists nowhere to be found (including https://www.spotify.com/account/recover-playlists/ )
It was mentioned in your response to the thread it was possible to get in contact with spotify during situations like this; how would one go about doing that?
