Being charged

For the past few months, I've had my account set to automatically take payments from Paypal. The problem is, my Spotify account is now showing up with the same profile name and pic from Facebook, but no playlists, no history of payments, no song history, no followers/people I'm following (i just added some people again last night), no messages etc. It's like I have a brand new account, but it's not Premium. Yet, I was just charged this month, today, for premium. Essentially, I'm paying for something that was working fine before the middle of last month, and I am not getting what I'm paying for.

I have proof of my payments.
Please contact me.
I've been sending in the messages on the contact form for a couple weeks now and now response. It's not cool

I don't understand what type of business doesn't have a customer service hotline.

Agreed. Any company that takes your money needs better customer service.

Are you sure you are logging into the right account? If you created your account with a username, only use that username (not an email) to login. Do you have a case number for the support request you sent in?

Whats a Spotify Rock Star?

Case #01917054 for my form from yesterday.

Case #01871784 for the form I sent on September 30th. It's been over two weeks, and no response to the message from September 30th other than the automated confirmation.


Yes, I'm positive I'm logging into the same account I've been logging into for nearly 2 years. My Facebook had connected to it followers and playlists that when I shared, it went straight to the FB wall, even from my phone, I could choose and play songs individually, without ads, because I had premium, and then share those songs individually from my cell. I have a payment history associated with the email (the same as the FB account). I should have got some kind of response for a ticket sent in two weeks ago. When I used to "log in with FB" I could see all this info on my account page too. Now, the only history I have is the email confirmations of payment

Yet this isn't showing up on my Spotify account payment history.

*I see my Username/ID is different here. So perhaps if Spotify could correctly pair my Username/ID with my FB like it was before, this whole thing could be cleared up. Of course, that requires responding to a ticket in the first place. In my original ticket I said “I had premium and now I have what appears to be a new user account connected to my Facebook”.

All the other payments were automatic payments taken through my paypal as well. I’ve got the transaction numbers and such for Spotify, and during that time period until the middle of last month, I was able to login via FB, and use Spotify Premium. Now I’m being charged, and am not able to do so.

I suspect, that my Spotify account with the user ID 1251810519 was somehow switched with a different/new ID: 12158329138. I would like the pairing to be reverted. I haven’t changed how I operate. I continued to Login with FB, and suddenly, my Spotify was clearly not synced with the original ID. A response should have happened by now from my original ticket also.

If this isn't resolved soon, and I continue to not get real customer service, I'm going to have to go to my bank and do Chargebacks, no company likes those. However, I don't like being charged for services I'm not getting, including customer service.
