Cannot connect on Android Google Pixel

I can connect to spotify on PC but the same login does not work on the App - google Pixel - Android . It is connected with facebook but it still does not connect

If logging via facebook app try to uninstall and then login to your account. After that you can reinstall facebook app.

I am honestly staggered by the stupidity of the log in for Spotify.

Just amazed.

I HATE Facebook. I have deleted it. And I have been trying to log into my spotify app and I put in my device username and password and am constantly logged out.

Requesting a device password clearly doesn't work well. I must have done this 50 times and I don't get an email.

And now I read here that I have to cancel my spotify account and start a new one? 

I think I should just cancel my family account because this is just **bleep**.
