Cannot get back to spotify playlist on my laptop...

Okay, so a few days ago, my laptop would not bring spotify back up.  Instead, it tried to redownload it.

When it did, this error message came up:

“The installer is unable to install Spotify because the files to write are in use by another process. Please make sure Spotify is not running and retry. (Error code 18)."

So, yesterday, I deleted Spotify from my laptop and tried to redownload it, but got the same error message.

Next, I tried to delete it from my phone and try again, but got the same error message.

Plus, on my laptop, Spotfiy thinks I don't have a premium subscription, therefore, it's not allowing me access to my playlist.  But works on my phone.

All the instructions for help seem to have instructions to redownload spotify from inside the program you've already downloaded, but I can't get to it to download it.

If anyone is experiencing this issue, please help me.  In the meantime, I can play Spotify from my phone and hook it up to my external speakers.
