Differing track availability across devices

Differing track availability across devices

Hey,

 

Premium user here. Spotted this a few weeks back and it's happening more and more frequently lately. Certain songs will be 'greyed out' on the desktop client with a message saying 'The artist/label has chosen to make this track unavailable....etc'.

Yet, if I go to either of my devices, I can access the track no problem. I've checked and its the same version of the song etc. This happens for about 20 songs that I've come across so far.

 

So why is this? Are some songs only available on mobile devices? Is the desktop client limited in some way? 

 

Anyone else having this problem? It's getting a little frustrating.

Could you grab a link to the track from both apps when this happens next and we can investigate further?
