Email suddenly unverified - can't get a prompt to re-verify

My Question or Issue

I'm building an application that uses spotify oauth. It has been working fine for the last year - but suddenly I'm getting errors that my email is not verified. 

I tried both solutions here to no avail - https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-for-Developers/You-need-to-verify-your-email-address-before...

The error in question is `Unverified email with spotify. Verify the email with spotify in order to sign in`

^ This is a direct response from the spotify web API.

Any ideas how I can get my email verified again? It's blocking me from linking my account to any 3rd part oauth, including my own.

Could you try logging in to https://www.spotify.com/en/account/overview/ and see if you can get a verification email sent to your email address? Does not seem related to the API, rather your Spotify account. Otherwise you might want to reach out to customer support for help.
