Exporting my playlist from one account and importing to another

Exporting my playlist from one account and importing to another

I created my Spotify account with a Facebook login. It's my understanding that to make my account stand alone, I need to create a new Spotify account.  How can I transfer my play list over?

Hi, and welcome to the community!

If it's just one playlist:

1) Create your new account - don't delete your old one yet!

2) Find your old account by typing spotify:user:username replacing username with your old account name into the search bar of Spotify.
3) Find your playlist.
4) Press subscribe on it.
5) Just to be safe, create a new empty playlist, then drag everything from the playlist which is subscribed to the new empty playlist.
6) Now you can delete your account

If it's lots, and you want to keep starred tracks, followers etc. (basically everything from your old account except the name), I suggest you create your new account (again, don't delete old one yet), submit an online contact form; and someone at Spotify can do that for you.

If you get an automated reply; make sure to reply to it directly (even if it's from a no reply); and it will be sent to the Spotify staff.

The easiest way:
Email the playlist to yourself.
Click the link in the email.
When it opens, click "view on Spotify".
When it opens in your Spotify account, click "follow".
Download playlist.

1. You on your old account click add collaborator and add your new account as a collaborator.

2. On the new account go as a collaborator to your playlist from the old account and click on the playlist 3 dots, only on the playlist, not on the song, just on that playlist:

“Add to another playlist.”

Then create the playlist you want and you're done, your new account now has all your tracks!
