Facebook Spotify won't delete

• I created an account with Facebook years ago that I forgot about. When I created a new account with student premium I wanted to connect it with Facebook so I could find friends but can't because of the old account. I can't delete the Facebook account and if I disconnect Spotify from Facebook through Facebook then try connecting to Facebook through the Spotify I want to use it doesn't work. Basically Spotify support is useless and is only set up as a reply email sending me here.
