Gift card without recipient email

Hi!

I would like order a gift card for christmas but I don't have the recipient email. If I enter one of my email address in the field recipient email, will my friend be able to use this card with one of his email address?

Welcome at the Spotify Community!

When you use one of your own mail addresses as recipient email you may ofcourse forward the e-mail to your friend. It just contains an code which he/she may use to redeem for the premium subscription. As the e-card page says; you may even print out the e-mail!

You may also choose for an normal gift-card, which you can give to him/her if you'd like to.

Thanks, I was looking for this also.  Once I processed the payment with Paypal, I returned to the gift card page with an error message, but the payment went through anyways.  I got the receipt with the code, now I can be confident that they will be able to redeem the code.
