Got premium with wrong email, can't change

Got premium with wrong email, can't change

Dear Community,

 

In a moment of tiredness, I created a premium account (to be gifted to a family member) and put the wrong email address.  I can't change the email because Spotify asks for a password, and the one I thought that I registered with is not accepted.  Can't request password reminder, because it would go to wrong email address -- can't change email address without password.  Stuck in a vicous loop.  What can I do?

I would suggest you to get in touch with Spotify. They should be able to help you. To make sure you get fast assistance, could you please include like an transaction ID, last 4 digits of your credit card? 

You may get in touch with Spotify via their Twitter page (@SpotifyCares), or by following this link (you won't have to login with this link) to send an e-mail.
If you send an e-mail, please check your inbox (and spam box) to check for their automatic reply. Once you get it, please reply to it immediatly (even if it's from an no-reply e-mail addres) to make sure an Spotify employee will get back to you as soon as possible.
