I moved to Madagascar but cant find the country in modify profile free acc

I moved to Madagascar but cant find the country in modify profile free acc

My initial account was in Mauritius for Spotify Free but after moving to Madagascar since some months, I still can’t find the country in the drop list of modify profile web page. Only finding Italy and sometimes France, which doesn’t allow me to use Spotify Free on my app. My account is linked to Google where I already changed my address to Madagascar weeks back.

Thanks for reaching out.

 

Spotify is available in Madagascar, so you should theoretically be able to select it as a country in your account settings.

 

Since you're in Madagascar and you're not seeing it, I recommend making sure you're not using any sort of VPN / Proxy.

Hi Maxim,

I live in Madagascar and I had just recently got a family premium account! My issue is that, I can’t seem to be able to add any family member because it says that we aren’t in the same region. When I tried to change the family member’s country, France is the only available country and there is no “Madagascar” option available! However, since I used a Madagascar visa card to pay for the subscription, my country in the account settings is automatically set to Madagascar and thus I can’t seem to add any family member in our household.

Keep in mind that if your family members are not physically in Madagascar, they won't be able to change their country settings. 

 

If they are and still can't change their country, make sure they're not not using any sort of VPN or Proxy as @Maxim mentioned above.
