OAuth collision or someone took over my account?

OAuth collision or someone took over my account?

A strange situation I have since June 25th.

First of all - someone somehow managed to attach 4 new emails to my Family subscription. This was resolved today morning with the Support.

In the evening, I'm logging in to check again if everything is ok - no. It's not. The accout administrator is entirely different (not me).

I'm trying to log in via Facebook Connect - an error occured. Via FB password - lets me in. I'm heading to Community page, click Log in with Facebook, and... entirely different account pops up.

The user seems to be created yesterday. Is there any possibility to somehow hijack a Spotify account via OAuth? I remember that OAuth had some problems yesterday reported.

(This is "the other" account)

Hey @DunnoNotMine, welcome to the community!

Having your account taken over isn't fun. But we'll do our best to help you out.

Since you were already working witn our Support team, it'd be best to get back in touch with them. They'll be able to look at the two accounts and help you out as soon as possible. You can give them a shout via Facebook or Twitter.

Let us know how it goes.
