Onkyo TX-8050

Hi 

 

I have a problem with connection to Spotify using Onkyo TX-8050.

I have restarted my network devices, reset Onkyo device, logout from other devices  and it does not help - still login error. I have used it regularly on my Onkyo from more than a year without any problems. I am able to login to Spotify from PC or mobile phone, so the account and password is OK. There was no updates on Onkyo, so it seems to be a problem with interface between Onkyo and Spotify.

Can you please help on this issue?

Basically the money grabbing tossers as Spotify have decided to punich early adopters who have inested in their "eco-system" by pulling support for individual devide integration.

 

Your Onkyo is now toast, like mine and everyone elses.

The same for me. No more Spotify on my TX-8050. Spotify Connect is not listed in devices. Thank you very much Spotify. Never again Spotify.

Can somone from Spotify support look at the issue. I am sure it is on Spotify site, I have checked all an my site and I strongly believe the error is in sowhere in Spotyfy when connecting from Onkyo TX-8050 device.

It is deliberate sabotage by Spotify, to force all users onto Spotify
Connect, probably so they can send advertisements to you.

The same for me. No response from Spotify about it?. What a same!.

Why have you do this? I am premium user and use your service on this device mostly.

Dear Spotify,

 

this problem continues to be be an unresolved issue. The Onkyo devices are my (as for many others) way of using the Spotify service. Now you cut off this channel of using your service. Please reconnect this, otherwise I will have to dicontinue subscribing  Spotify Premium, as there are a number of choices on the market supporting Onkyo users.

I have the same problem very annoying!!! Why does No one from Spotify reacts to clear this error? I will end my premium membership if this stays unanswered
