Please help,
I've been using my carrier (Smart Philippines) as my payment option for a subscription of Spotify. So far no problems.
The issue now is I want to gift someone a 1 month subscription and I tried to use the same payment option (thru my carrier Smart Philippiness) but it fails to continue. I tried numerous times.
Hope I can still use this payment option. The other payment schemes are not available for me.
Attached is a screenshot of what happens.

I think gift cards are not yet available in the Philippines. You may check if it's available in your country, and what store you can purchase it by clicking here.
Also, I believe gift cards can't be purchased using a mobile carrier.

First, giving a Spotify gift card is so sweet 🙂
As for your issue, have you tried purchasing the card via private or incognito browsing? You may want to try doing it as it may help fix the issue.
Also, ensure you have enough minutes on your phone bill to make sure it goes through smoothly.

It is available to purchase in my country (Philippines) thru the site. It's just the payment option won't work.
Tried using incognito or private browsing. The issue still persists. I think this is account related or there's an issue with the number I'm using. Can this be fixed?
Oh, I see, well in that case, I'd suggest you to contact Spotify directly through theirContact form, so they can check your account from their end.

Last thing you may want to do is try purchasing the gift card on another device, and see what happens. Basically, it looks like that payment method isn't working properly.
If the issue is the same, you may need to get in touch with Spotify directly to help you fix your issue. For sure, they will not leave you behind 🙂
