Problem with loggin in

I can't login to Spotify, it says I have the wrong username or password. When I click "forgot password" it says that because I have created my account using Facebook I have to go on Facebook and change my password. I change it, but it still doesn't work, it still just says "wrong username or password". Also, it doesn't say my name on my profile anymore, it just says a number, 11196103351.  When I tried  "log in with Facebook" a new account was created, as if I never had a Spotify account, which has my name and is connected with my Facebook, but it has none of my playlists or premium. Even though the new account says it is connected with Facebook, when I try to change the password on the old account, it still says that I have to change it on Facebook, and it still doesn't work when I try to log in with the new password. Have someone hacked my account or what's happening? What should I do?

With a facebook linked account, you should be able to login using the email address registered with facebook and your facebook password. What error comes up when you do this?

it doesn't work, it just says "wrong username or password" even though I have changed the password and tried againg at least ten times. Then all of a sudden when I try "log in with spotify" a new account was created, as if I never had a spotify account linked to my facebook.

It sounds like you might accidentally have two accounts tied to the same Facebook, meaning the older one has become unaccessible. You will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to get it all sorted out for you. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Guys i found this!!!

i had the same problems all this time, it always said connected or got an error message trying to log in with the facebook button!

This is what i did to make it work!

Change you password on you spotify profile the same as your facebook account!

No problems for me anymore i can now login true the facebook button!

1) open spotify

2) go to account

3) change password ( the same as your facebook account ) 

4) log out

5) close spotify

5) try to login with facebook button!

6) this worked for me!
