Hey, I am facing the same problem. My account is set to the Netherlands and I am now in India, and the drop down menu simply does not appear. I have been here for more than a month and even reinstalled Spotify.

Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community. 

 

Just to confirm, do you have Premium? If so, keep in mind that in order to change your country settings you may also need to update your payment method to one that’s issued where you're currently living:

 

  1. Go to your account page.
  2. Under Account, click Update next to your payment method.
  3. Enter a new payment method that was issued in your new country or region.

Note that the changes will take effect from your next billing date.

 

However, if you're using the free version, you should be able to see the country you're in, in the dropdown menu. If you can't see it, we suggest that you try again from a different device and make sure it's connected to a local Wi-Fi.
