Student discount premium not showing up

About half an hour ago I signed up for the student discount premium. My account says I have discounted premium, but neither the desktop application nor the Android version reflect the fact that I paid for premium. What's up here?

Apparently editing posts isn't a thing one can do here. But, as an added note, I'm still getting advertisements, too.

Are you definitely logging in using the correct details on your devices? It's amazingly easy to accidentally have two accounts, one with a Spotify username and another using your Facebook details (in which case your username will show up as a number on your online account).

Yep. Login details are correct.
