Upgrading from a free family member to my own "family" plan

Hi - I am currently a free family member on my brother's family plan. I would like to upgrade my account to my own (paying) "family" plan so that I can give my kids free access. I would prefer to keep my account name/settings. Is there an easy way to do such an upgrade? I don't see it under account options, it just says to refer to the "Premium for Family owner to manage your plan." Or am I better off just creating a new account with an alternate e-mail address?

The owner of the plan must drop you off of the plan, then you will be able to create a new Family Plan for you and your kids.
