Wanting to follow Facebook friends I accidentally "dismissed"

Pretty straight forward question. I accidentally clicked X over a couple people when I actually wanted to follow them. Now I can't find them, even through searching.

I'm pretty sure from reading other community posts there is no way to easily get them back in the client (or via the support guys).

I've found a few friends I lost by finding their playlists on their Facebook timeline - if that is an option it seems to work. Once you find a playlist, it's easy to get to the profile and follow them.
