Why can I still see my old account after I had to get a new one?

So what happened is that I had to get a new spotify account as it stuffed up. Anyway, after I got my new account, I started to follow some of my friends but as I was, I saw my old account. I was wondering why I could see. Can anyone possibly help me find a way to make sure that I cannot find my old account?

Your old account does remain as an existing account, until it is deleted. This is why you can still view it from another profile.

If you have playlists and music on your previous account that you want to be unseen, delete that profile.

If your saying that all of your old information is being transferred to your new account, that’s a glitch that the system should fix in the next update maybe.
