deleted spotify and can't get it to reinstall!!! Help!!!

Description

Spotify stopped running, so I force quitted it then it refused to reopen, kept saying it had unexpectedly quit before it even opened.

A more detailed description, using numbered steps

1. uninstalled Spotify

2. tried to reinstall spotify

3. searched for the cache to delete, which I cannot find

4. restarted my computer

5. again, I tried to install

6. restarted my computer, again

7. Again, I tried to reinstall

What I expected to happen

for the new spotify to work

What actually happened

It says that installer couldn't finished and that Spotify quit unexpectedly.

My Operating System

Mac OS X 10.5.8

My Spotify version

E.g. 0.8.4.

My internet provider and country

Time Warner USA

My username

Do you have any screenshots you can attach to more clearly explain your issue?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

Mac OS X 10.5.x is no longer being supported by Spotify, that is why the most recent version of the client won't run. 

Have a read at my post here which outlines how to get a working client again.
